My name is Jacquelyn Hams and I am an Associate Professor and Department Chair of the Earth Science and Anthropology Department at Los Angeles Valley College and a serious amateur photographer! I teach Oceanography lecture and lab, Physical Geology lecture and lab, Environmental Science lecture and lab, Planetary Science, and Natural Hazards. This fall 2010, I am teaching the following classes:

  • Geology 1 (section 1312)
  • Oceanography 10 (section 1503)
  • Geology 6 Laboratory (section 1315)
  • Oceanography 1 (section 1502)

Computer access and a high speed internet connection are required for these classes. Students enrolled in Earth Science classes have access to computers in the Earth Science GIS lab during open hours.
